Gexcon and our partner Naizak are pleased to invite you to a learning session where you can learn how the consequence analysis tool EFFECTS and Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) tool RISKCURVES can support in ensuring a safe energy transition and chemical processes.

The learning session will be held at the InterContinental Al Jubail, 101، Tareeq, Al Jubail 10167, Saudi Arabia on Wednesday, 31 May 2023 from 8:30 to 15:00.

Due to limited seating, please register as soon as possible to secure your place.

About the learning session

Utilizing carbon-neutral energy carriers, such as hydrogen and ammonia, in public and industrial settings is viewed as a way to transition towards a low-carbon future.

It is crucial to ensure that these energy transition initiatives are performed safely and sustainably to protect people, infrastructure and the environment. This includes assuring that facilities and technologies handling new energy carriers are safe for deployment.

Join Gexcon and Naizak in an event where you can learn how the consequence analysis tool EFFECTS and risk analysis tool RISKCURVES can support in ensuring safe facilities and chemical processes.

You can use the results generated from the tools as a basis to:

  • Understand the extent and severity of potential accidents that may cause injuries, fatalities and damage to assets and the environment.
  • Support the design of safe facilities, such as considering appropriate hazard distances.
  • Develop safe operational processes.
  • Reduce CAPEX and OPEX by preventing the over-design of preventive and mitigative measures.
  • Comply with standards, codes and regulations.
  • Evaluate the impact of adding/ modifying equipment at existing facilities.

Ultimately, by using these software tools, you will have the ability to make data-driven decisions to control and mitigate risks in your projects with efficient and cost-effective approaches.

You will also see a live demonstration of how to use the tools through practical use cases.
