Gexcon is pleased to announce Sonia Ruiz-Pérez as our new Product Manager for EFFECTS and RISKCURVES, effective 1st August 2022.
Sonia, who joined Gexcon in January 2019 as a Research Engineer, comes with over 7 years of experience in the field of process safety and was part of the research and development team of EFFECTS and RISKCURVES for 6 years.
While having developed various new models in EFFECTS and specialized in the validation of EFFECTS models against experimental results, Sonia has been increasingly involved in consultancy, training, marketing, and sales-related activities. Therefore, the move to a full-time product management responsibility is a natural transition for her.
We’re excited to have Sonia in this role, as she combines her in-depth knowledge of the products with insights into the needs of our users and the various markets from her experience.
We believe she will contribute greatly to the success of EFFECTS and RISKCURVES in the fast-growing community of safety professionals in the (petro-)chemical industry that need advanced and well-validated yet easy-to-use and affordable software to do process hazard analysis and QRAs.
