There is nothing small about the growth of Gexcon US during its first decade. Under the leadership of Dr. Scott Davis, the US office provides high-quality, professional consulting in the fields of safety, security, and accident investigation.
Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, Gexcon US has achieved a number of milestones, which have positioned the company as a leader in the industry. In 2014, the US office signed a contract valued at 3.7 million dollars with the Research Partnership to Secure Energy for America (RPSEA). The contract was awarded to Gexcon based on its proposal to test Deflagration to Detonation (DDT) events at a large scale using CFD tools to better understand, predict, and mitigate potential consequences.
Supporting safety has always been at the core of the company. Reflecting on the path travelled over the years, Dr. Davis comments, “Our journey over the past decade is a great reminder of the hard work we have dedicated to creating a safety-minded culture.”
Several of Gexcon’s successes include the diversification of applications into multiple industries. Incident investigation is a great source of opportunity and continuously penetrating new areas of growth like identifying hazards for A3 refrigerants for commercial HVAC applications.
