Gexcon welcomes the new CEO of Consulting

Longship and the board of directors of Gexcon are delighted to announce Jale Cairney as the new CEO of Gexcon, Consulting. 

Cairney joins Gexcon with a wealth of knowledge and international experience acquired in infrastructure projects, manufacturing, consultancy, testing, certification and inspection in various sectors, including oil & gas, energy and offshore. 

Her experience in implementing growth strategies will be critical to the ambitions of Gexcon in the fields of safety, risk management, advanced dispersion, explosion and fire modelling. With Cairney’s leadership, Gexcon is gearing up to expand its current global operations in consulting, fire & explosion testing, and certification. In the last 40 years, Gexcon has been involved in the investigation of many high-profile accidents such as Buncefield, Piper Alpha, TWA 800, and the P-36 platform. In addition, leaders in the oil and gas industry and safety engineers at major hazard facilities have consistently sought the services of Gexcon to provide them with Gexcon’s top-quality technical expertise to manage the risks of fire and explosions from flammable substances.
