Gexcon announces new VP Hydrogen Safety

Gexcon is pleased to announce Fiona Mitchell-Corbett as our new Vice President Hydrogen Safety, effective 1st June 2022.

Fiona, who joined Gexcon in October 2021 as Team Lead Hydrogen Safety, comes with 15 years of experience within the field of process safety and previously worked as Hydrogen Process Safety Lead of a global green energy company. 

Fiona has supported many projects within the energy sector and across hydrogen, oil, and gas, through the full project design lifecycle from concept to operations.

Fiona takes over from her predecessor, Geirmund Vislie who has played a pivotal role in leading Gexcon’s hydrogen safety team and we wish him well as he moves into a new role within the hydrogen industry.

We’re very excited to have Fiona in this role. Her depth of experience, knowledge, and management capabilities will complement our hydrogen safety activities globally.
