To support Gexcon’s continuing focus on hydrogen safety, we are pleased to announce that we have joined the Center for Hydrogen Safety (CHS).

CHS is a nonprofit, impartial and politically neutral community of industry leaders dedicated to the promotion of the safe operation, handling, and use of hydrogen and hydrogen systems across all installations and applications.

Nick Barilo, Executive Director of CHS said:

“Gexcon has been a trusted safety consultant for many of the world’s leaders in industry and played a pivotal role in the safe and successful adoption of hydrogen around the globe. The Center for Hydrogen Safety’s impact is dependent on the deep knowledge and collaboration of its membership, and we’re confident the experience Gexcon brings will benefit our community and the industry as a whole.”

Gexcon and CHS have a joint ambition to share hydrogen safety knowledge and promote strong safety outcomes in the hydrogen industry through understanding and managing the hazards associated with hydrogen.

Gexcon’s Vice President Hydrogen Safety Fiona Mitchell-Corbett commented:

“We’re looking forward to collaborating with member organisations on driving hydrogen safety forward and supporting a collective growth in our understanding of hydrogen and how it can be safely used to support the energy transition”.
