Lin Yejin gave a brief introduction to the basic situation of the school and college. He pointed out that issues in the related fields of ship safety have attracted more attention from the international community. The cooperation with Gexcon AS will not only further improve the knowledge of undergraduate courses in marine engineering but also promote the development of marine safety engineering at DMU. It is helpful to strengthen the international exchanges and cooperation between the college, DMU and related universities, scientific research institutes and enterprises in Norway.
In recent years, Gexcon has held a number of academic discussions with relevant universities around the world. Sturle Harald Pedersen has expressed confidence in the cooperation between both parties. “We look forward to supporting DMU in Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) of fire and explosion on offshore equipment. There has been a change in the requirements for QRA in China. Both parties will carry out further and comprehensive cooperation and exchanges.”
