About the webinar
Shell FRED 2022 replaces the previous version of the software (Shell FRED 2020).
In this webinar, we performed a live software demonstration to show the new major feature updates:
- New models available – analyse the consequence of gas blowdown, missile fragments after vessel burst, LNG flame impingement, and many other models
- Extension to the feature-rich user interface – work simpler and more efficiently with improved result tabs drag/ drop, unit adjustment, scenarios/ fuel filtering, and many more
- Complete migration of models from FRED 7.1 – analyse the consequence of pressure relief valve, Gaussian dispersion, TNO explosion, and smoke models
Shell FRED has been developed and validated through Shell’s extensive program of large-scale experiments, a substantial investment, joint industry projects, and published scientific literature.
