Other than standardised testing solutions, our extensive experience includes delivering personalised testing services for various applications, such as refrigerant gas systems, hydrogen, battery technologies, LNG, and more, to assist clients in achieving their safety objectives.
Examples of testing that we have performed for our clients are as follows:
Refrigerant gas systems
- Testing premixed refrigerant-air mixtures to determine their LEL (LFL), UEL (UFL), laminar burning velocity, minimum ignition energy and auto-ignition temperature based on well-established standards
(incl. EN 1837: 2017, ASTM E582: 2021 and EN 14522: 2005) - Large-scale testing to study the dispersion behaviour (including those arising from small releases
(low release rates) - Large-scale testing to study the behaviour of their combustion after igniting realistic refrigerant clouds
