I find the work life balance excellent as I am able to plan my own work and discuss workloads openly within the team. I am typically out of the office three or four times a month on site visits and meetings which is a nice way to break up the working week. We have also had a number of organised team days and spontaneous meet-ups after work since I started which has been a nice way to get to know the team.

Hi, I’m Souad. I joined Gexcon's graduate programme in August 2023. So far my time here has been a valuable learning experience. Some of the things I have focussed on include the underlying science behind explosions and what factors affect an explosion's severity. I have also got to familiarise myself with different standards and regulations and how these can be implemented to ensure everyone is kept safe. The support I have received in a short space of time has been invaluable and I look forward to continuing my journey here.
